Hey Toads
While you guys are in town, May 15th (Sunday) is the Bay to Breakers marathon through San Francisco. It is a crazy event; people go all out with elaborate costumes, nudity etc. It's basically a big mobile party/freak show. The route goes through the whole length of Golden Gate Park. We have a plan to throw down a carpet maybe acquire a generator and Jam along the sidelines. It will be Crumpled Napkin, Plasterkatz, Lava Toad and whoever else comes out. We can sit in on each other's songs, do some spaced out hippie jamming, drink some beers, grill up some burgers. It'll be fun.
More info on this will be posted soon.
Right on.

Tue, April 26, 2005 - 1:50 PMCool, Sanchez! Thanks, Holly!
Man, oh, man, do we need to get practicing--this moving business is really getting us down. But it would REALLY be murder if we didn't have friends waiting to rescue us--thank you SO much, Chris and Holly!!! -

Re: Jam in the park
Tue, April 26, 2005 - 4:37 PMYAY! We KNOW it will be (everything we thought it'd be). We were just rereading an e-mail I'd sent to two of my friends describing our brief trip down there to see the band that would later evolve into Plasterkatz. Chris said, "If you had reread me that letter ages ago we would have gone back there IMMEDIATELY." It sure brought back the good times--which we know were only a taste of what's to come. (We haven't even seen Sanchez's dick yet!)

Tue, April 26, 2005 - 4:46 PMWarning: Don't use the word 'taste' so close to 'Sanchez's dick' in one paragraph. You'll only regret it later.

Re: Jam in the park
Tue, April 26, 2005 - 5:17 PMHee hee--Fantasy Island.
OK, for everyone who thinks Uncle Joe has always been funny, here's a taste--I mean, an example--of the kind of jokes he made up before he started writing Lava Toad songs.
(Sigh.)
Mr. Rourke and Tattoo are in the grocery store, and Mr. Rourke asks which kind of yogurt they should get. So Tattoo says--
Well, you can probably guess. -

This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: Jam in the park
Tue, April 26, 2005 - 6:34 PMI'm not sure I do, either, but I can't stop laughing.
The answer was--and you'll just have to wait to kill me until I get there--"The plain. The plain." -

Re: Jam in the park
Tue, April 26, 2005 - 8:02 PMMy boss created an adventure where Fantasy Island was really just a front by Kahn to fund the beginning of the Eugenics Wars. It was quite epic. I played Buckaroo Banzai. I had an electrictiy spitting watermelon gun.
